All truly great thoughts are conceived by walking.

So I will start my blog with the most basic thing that we learnt when we were children...how to walk Walking gives us different effects physically, mentally and, emotionally. For me, it's a combination of the three. Today, I've walked for almost 8km.because there's a problem with transportation. My route is from Bologna to a province of Modena. I can call someone to pick me up but I chose to walk. Physically, it made my legs stronger. Mentally, it helped me memorize the exact places of the buildings I've always had the trouble memorizing with. Emotionally, it made me want to walk a mile more! It gave me a feeling of achievement. In the future I'm hoping to walk 80 km!
This is me halfway to my destination!
Walking made me realize how busy the streets are during Sundays. It made me observe the ruins of the past civilization. The colors of the abandoned houses gave me ideas on how I will start my next artwork.
Almost there!
Beautiful house ruins!
my shoes after! =D
Lesson of the day: Everywhere is within walking distance if you have the time.
